Rug Making Courses

Two Expert Rug Making Courses to Choose from…

You have just discovered the two premiere rug making courses available to the general public. The only way to get this type of training is to serve an apprenticeship at a professional rug making studio. And while this is possible, it is a rare opportunity, and you would likely have to start at the bottom and work your way up into the design facilities. Our programs teach the full spectrum of rug making and design. Once you have completed your training, you will have continued access to our staff and 30 years of experience in the field of professional rug making.

Professional Rug Making Courses in Sedona, Arizona

We offer a training program like no other, this is a program that covers all facets of rug making in a carefully structured 7 Step system. The Pro On-Site Training course is a hands-on 4 day / 40 hour program. Yes, it’s a pretty intense, but it’s the quickest way to learn the fine art of custom rug fabrication.

This is a program for dedicated individuals who are willing to ‘do the work’ at a quick tempo. Some of these 7 steps are fairly simple and do not require a whole lot of practice. You will quickly learn the art of inlay and carpet sculpture require the bulk of your attention, and this is where we dive deep into the training. Repetition plays a big part in this process.

This course contains all components found in the Home Study course, all the training DVD’s etc. The DVD’s can be reviewed as many times as you need, and they cover the same techniques that you learned in our rug workroom.

Home Study Course is for the DIY Crowd

The entire rug-making course has been professionally filmed and edited in 3 DVDs. The 7 steps are carefully demonstrated in detail. Close up demos on how to use each tool, quickly and professionally.

Also included is our Designbook featuring 50 rug designs, and these fall into five theme categories. There is a wide variety of designs, for beginners to advanced. All designs can be printed out and can be digitally revised within Adobe Illustrator. This allows you to generate multiple colorways to show your clients.

We’ve made a comparison chart on both programs and you can find that here on our pricing page.

All the Best,
